Monocromo apareció por primera vez en noviembre de 2013.
Hoy, diez años después, en su encarnación de 2023, ha experimentado una meticulosa revisión y remasterización.

Este álbum, junto con Def:Ault, se destaca como uno de los proyectos más accesibles dentro de la colección de álbumes que he realizado bajo el alias de DEF. Se distingue por una mayor influencia del IDM, que se manifiesta de manera más notoria en comparación con las incursiones industriales o experimentales que caracterizan otras obras, aunque no puede obviarse el vínculo inevitable con estos elementos.

Monocromo es una obra concisa y directa, concebida principalmente a través de la instrumentos hardware y el empleo de equipo de construcción propia (DIY).

Monocromo made its first appearance in November 2013. Today, ten years after, in its 2023 incarnation, it has undergone a meticulous review and remastering.

This album, along with Def:Ault, stands out as one of the most accessible projects within the collection of albums I have produced under the alias DEF. It is distinguished by a greater influence of IDM, which is evident audibly and perhaps more noticeably compared to the industrial or experimental forays that characterize other works, although the inevitable connection with these elements cannot be overlooked.

Monocromo is a concise and straightforward piece, primarily conceived through hardware instruments and the use of DIY equipment.
